End User License Agreement (EULA) for Willow
Last updated: September 18, 2026
For the App Store, Willow uses Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA):
Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using Willow (“Willow,” “the service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Willow.
Willow is a habit-first book tracker for iPhone, iPad, and Android. For apps obtained from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement linked above also applies to your license to use the app; where it conflicts with these Terms, Apple’s Standard EULA governs that license.
The service
Willow lets you log reading sessions with a timer, track streaks and yearly goals, earn milestone badges, manage a personal library (including Reading, Completed, TBR, Abandoned, and collections), view analytics and a reading calendar, and sync data when online.
Features may change as we improve the product. We may add, modify, or remove functionality.
Accounts
You may create an account using email login or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscriptions and purchases
Willow includes a free tier. Willow Pro is optional and available as Willow Pro Monthly (auto-renewable, billed every month), Willow Pro Yearly (auto-renewable, billed every year), and Willow Pro Lifetime (a one-time purchase, not a subscription).
The title, length, and price of each option are shown on the in-app purchase screen before you buy, and you are charged in your local currency by Apple or Google.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price for the plan you selected.
You can manage or cancel a subscription after purchase in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in Google Play → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Indicative list prices are USD $2.99 per month for Willow Pro Monthly, USD $9.99 per year for Willow Pro Yearly, and USD $42.99 once for Willow Pro Lifetime. These are examples only — the price shown by the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase is authoritative.
Deleting your Willow account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play as described above.
Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable except as provided by Apple, Google, or applicable consumer law. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
Account deletion
You can delete your Willow account in the app at any time: Settings → Delete Account, or Profile Details → Delete Account.
Deleting your account permanently removes your account and your synced library, sessions, notes, ratings, collections, goals, and badge progress. It cannot be undone.
Account deletion does not cancel a Willow Pro subscription billed by Apple or Google, and it does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Manage billing in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
Your content
You retain rights to the content you add to Willow, such as notes, ratings, lists, and images you upload (for example profile avatars or book covers).
You grant Willow a limited license to host, store, sync, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to content you add.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Willow — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse engineer except where permitted by law, abuse APIs or sync systems, or use Willow for unlawful purposes.
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information, including reading activity, camera use for barcode scanning and on-device cover OCR, photos, purchases, and how account deletion works. By using Willow, you also acknowledge that policy.
Intellectual property
Willow, including its design, trademarks, badge artwork, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Willow — only a limited license to use the app as provided.
Disclaimers
Willow is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect sync, or that milestones or analytics will meet your personal expectations.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Willow and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim related to Willow will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or zero if you use only the free tier — except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
You may stop using Willow at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the service or your access with notice where reasonable.
